ECTED™, pronounced ek-ted stands for Electronically Controlled Traction Enhancing Differential.
This Auburn locking differential provides the latest in traction technology and enables the driver to select the mode which best suites the driving conditions. When "off" the Auburn locker ECTED™ functions as a limited slip differential. When the dash-mounted switch is in the "on" mode the differential becomes a locker, which is ideal for the drag strip or off-road terrain.
9310 heat-treated aircraft quality gear material, makes it as tough as the terrain. The Auburn ECTED™ can be integrated with ABS and traction-control systems. Friction based mechanism allows for smooth and quiet engagement. Auburn ECTED™ can be switched on the fly at any speed.
Auburn ECTED™ comes with the locker, wiring, lighted switch, friction modifier additive, fittings for differential hole and instructions.
The ECTED’s simplicity, ease of installation, high torque transfer capability, and other controllable features makes it an attractive cost-to-benefit design.
